Today, June 8, World Ocean Day is-the time to celebrate the life-giving water which connects us all. In the center of Dubai, the ocean is more than only one background-it is an entrance for self-addiction, treatment and empowerment.
In a special feature, the Khaleej Times spoke to three notable women from different parts of the world-Armenia-Lebanon, Romania and Germany-Maxico-not only found their naive legs, but also the purpose, peace and a sense of purpose in the UAE’s vibrant marine community.

A woman shared how personal changes occurred due to overcoming water fear. “I was afraid of the sea,” he said. “But Dubai’s supporting diving community helped me to protect nothing to fear the ocean.”
