Several residents of al zarooni building in al barsha were forced to evacuate and seek shelter elsewhere after a fire broke out on tuesday evening, reportedly caused by a gas leak at the pearl view restaurant on the ground floor.
The incident occurred around 8:40 pm, just steps away from the mall of the emirates parking lot, and eerily close—just 100 metres—to another building that caught fire on december 30 last year.
