Homeless, not disappointed
Families are still living out of suitcase. Many live in temporary housing, navigating insurance delays, or uncertainty of emotional crisis and uncertainty – or if – they can return home.
A city that came together
Later, the Dubai community responded with compassion. Volunteers provided food, shelter and clothes. But as the weeks pass, the support has slowed down, while the needs are necessary.
